“THINGS REMEMBERED”
This is a story of rural family life in mid-20th-Century New England. It may well be the best, if not the only such account in existence. In truth it is the story of "things forgotten" or not even known about by most of us alive today.
Charles has written not only about “what” things were done in those days but also “how”
they were accomplished. His down-to-earth descriptions reflect the fact that he was personally involved with the tools and methods at hand at the time. I found his family anecdotes to be unique and fascinating.
